The number of foreign tourists visiting Korea has increased a lot.
Tourists who visit Seoul inevitably visit Gwanghwamun Square.
Here is information on open toilets located near Gwanghwamun Square.
Gyeongbokgung Palace – The Statue of King Sejong

The picture above is a map from Gwanghwamun Square to Gyeongbokgung Palace. There are many buildings, but not all of them have their toilets open.
A red circle is an open toilet mark. It is an open toilet that the public can use freely.
For those who are confused about the direction, try this. If you face the statue of King Sejong or Admiral Yi Sun-shin, you can see Inwangsan Mountain in the distance. The mountain side is number 1 in the picture above. Facing the statue of King Sejong, the U.S. Embassy is on the right and the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts is on the left.
I’ll organize it for those who don’t know Korean :
1. Exhibition building of National Palace Museum
2. Uijeongbu Historical Site Plaza
3. 1st floor of the main building of Jongno-gu Office
4. 1st and 2nd floor lobby of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts
5. Sejong-ro Public Parking Lot (underground)
6. 1st floor of the Korea Productivity Headquarters
South of King Sejong Statues

The next picture is below King Sejong’s Garden (south).
Number 4 on the map above is the place that appeared in the first picture.
7. Kyobo Bookstore Open Toilet (1st B)
8. Gwanghwamun Post Office Open Toilet
9. Sejong-ro Police Station Open Toilet
This is the list officially taken from the Seoul Open Toilet information.
In addition, there are many places where you can use the restroom in cafes and restaurants. Instead, you have to spend a little money.
Going to the bathroom in Seoul is not as difficult as you think, and you are generous, so you can feel comfortable.
However, not all toilets are open to outsiders, so please know the toilet information in advance!
